Do You Really Know How to Select a Good Doctor?

There are a lot of shitty doctors (no offense Dr. Dre) They're also some that are great.
A good majority of western allopathic trained physicians think of health as the absence of illnesses. Adopting this mindset can have your lens in a very limiting model of what health in the truest sense of the definition really means.

This blog post is not to bash western medicine, it's to provoke thought, identify the real problem so that we can make more intelligent decisions when it comes to choosing our primary Physician.

I truly believe that 99% of allopathic physicians are trying their best and want to genuinely help patients heal. I understand. However, let us be honest right now it's a freaking train wreck. From big pharma to the insurance companies, to an 'apple a day keeps the doctor away'? Well, maybe if you aim it well enough.

NOTE; I am not a doctor or play one on the internet.

When it comes to choosing a doctor

Here are some red flags:

  • Barely listen to you or discount your questions about what is happening with your health

  • Cant articulate your diagnosis or doesn't recommend treatment in a way that makes sense to you

  • Not willing to look things up and learn about things they’re not familiar with because they already know it all
  • Disregard a different healing modality because they don’t quite understand how it works
  • Is not willing to ask for opinions from other physicians

Here's the thing the number one indicator on your first visit with any doctor is the length of time the physician spends with you. The best doctors spend at least 90 minutes to do your medical history. Another way to find a good indicator is to ask holistic practitioners or functional medicine practitioners.

REVIEW THESE WEBSITES

My top suggestion is acam.org American College for the Advancement of Medicine. This is a college that certifies practitioners in chelation therapy. The great majority have an interest in functional medicine.

What is Chelation Therapy?

There are several forms of chelation therapies. For example, there is the high dose (30,000-100,000 mg) intravenous vitamin C done on an intravenous drip (IV) for various acute and chronic conditions including cancers.Another one is EDTA chelation. This therapy treatment is used for removing several heavy metals & toxins. Once bond to toxins in the body EDTA helps detox the body of heavy metals by removing them before disease, illnesses, & imbalances have a chance to develop.

Now, the great majority of disease illnesses and imbalances develop from an over stressed impaired immune system. What causes the immune system to be heavily stressed? You got it! Toxicity.
A true doctor always detoxifies first, rebuilds second. Something allopathic medicine is still lagging behind big pharma, chemo, and surgery.
